HI, I'M YANRONG JI AND I GO BY JERRY. I'M CURRENTLY A BIOINFORMATICS PHD CANDIDATE IN THE LAB OF PROF. RAMANA DAVULURI AT NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY. MY RESEARCH DEALS WITH APPLYING MACHINE LEARNING/DEEP LEARNING ALGORITHMS FOR DEVELOPING NOVEL BIOINFORMATIC TOOLS FOR STUDYING GENE REGULATION, IN PARTICULAR GENE ISOFORMS, IN DISEASES LIKE CANCER FOR PRECISION MEDICINE. Also worked with Prof. Lingjun Li on mass spectrometry regarding characterization of crustacean neuropeptides, neurotoxicity of nanoparticles, and MALDI Imaging.
